A Blissful Climate for Sleep

Living in Florida, we have all dealt with the iconic blistering Florida heat. The Sleep Foundation recommends setting your room temperature anywhere between 60-68 degrees Fahrenheit to optimize your sleep. The reason being that when we fall asleep, throughout the night our bodies internal temperatures gradually drop before reaching its lowest at around 5 am. During this time, it’s important that you don’t leave your bedroom too warm, as doing so will slow down your body’s natural rhythm. A cooler temperature (60-68 degrees) will allow your body to naturally ease into our natural cycle and give you a faster, more peaceful sleep.
