Better Night, Better Life: the Benefits of Sleep (Part 1)

Every aspect of our daily life is affected by our sleep behaviors. It may seem obvious but sleeping is easy to do but difficult to master.

According to the Division of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School, your body manages and requires sleep in much the same way that it regulates the need for eating, drinking, and even breathing.

The studies and research on the effects of sleep are vast, but the conclusions are all similar. Definitively, sleep plays a vital role in your physical and mental health.

Without the proper amount of sleep you may suffer from poor judgment, moodiness and your ability to retain information becomes weakened. With adequate sleep your thoughts are clearer, your emotional state is less fragile and you generally feel better.

So whether you are trawling the Internet because of insomnia, you’re an exhausted mom that is still dreary after your slumber or you are just generally on edge and out of sorts, you have come to the right place. Stay tuned for our upcoming blog posts on the benefits of sleep.
