5. Limit digital content. Your children are probably growing up in a completely different age than you. The digital age. TV's, tablets, games and other digital media are a form of entertainment and enjoyment for all ages. As bedtime approaches, it is important to monitor and possibly limit their digital vices. This can be because the content is too stimulating, the content could cause frightening images right before bed or because white light from screens has been shown to affect sleep patterns.
