6 Tips on How to Get Children to Sleep (Part 2)

We have been trying to help some struggling parents with tips on getting a better sleep routine for their children. If you missed the previous article, you can find it on our blog. More tips below.

2. Don't just come up with your own suggested sleep time. Kids need, on average way more sleep than adults. Sleeping half the day is perfectly normal when you are little. If you child is sleeping 8 hours a night and you don't understand why they are cranky, that is probably the culprit.

Infants can survive off about 9 hours a day. It goes up from to about 12 hours a night until they are about 4 years old. Consult your childcare professional if you don't think your child is getting enough sleep.

Stay tuned next month for more tips. One of the most important factors in sleeping is comfort. Maybe a better mattress will let you get the rest you need. Contact us to learn more.
