6 Tips on How to Get Children to Sleep (Part 1)


If you don't have children, you may believe that they must be adorable 24 hours a day. However, most exasperated parents would agree they are the cutest when they are sleeping. The trick is getting them to sleep!

Sleep is one of the biggest challenges of children's daily routine. Depending on the age of the child they need much more sleep than the 6-8 hours of their adult counterparts. Their behavior, or mis-behavior can be directly related to their sleep schedules.

We have some great tips to help you get started.

1. Develop a calming, peaceful routine. Don't roughhouse or play stimulating games. Work on a puzzle or a story before tucking them into their beds for the night.
