Fox Mattress breaks the myth that flipping mattresses no longer is a practice and that two-sided mattresses have stopped being manufactured.
It has come to our attention at Fox Mattress that customers are being told that two-sided (flippable) mattresses no longer exist on the market. We are here to answer questions regarding that MYTH.
1. Can a mattress still be built 2-sided?
Yes! We have numerous different innerspring and foam designs that are still built to be 2 sided and flipped over. We strongly believe in the phrase “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.” These designs are what most consumers have grown used to and we see no reason to change that.
2. Why do the major “S” brands (nationally known mattress manufacturers) tell me that only one-sided mattresses are available now?
Unfortunately like many industries in the world, money becomes the primary factor instead of customers’ satisfaction and comfort. To build a one-sided mattress the cost is cut in half for the manufacturer and then the retail market is able to keep the same marked up price. This ends up leaving the consumer getting the bad end of the deal. We have heard very creative explanations for “why” but we are here to provide you the truth.
3. But I hate the hassle of flipping my mattress, is it REALLY worth it?
To us at Fox Mattress, we believe that even if you only periodically flip over a mattress it is certainly worth it. Every mattress is designed to soften over time, and by having a two-sided bed; you have a brand NEW side when you’re ready to flip it over! In essence, you are able to buy two beds for the price of one. We are able to put the parts and pieces we like to put in our mattresses, and continue to keep our 99% customer satisfaction level.
We are able to build most of our designs to be one sided OR two sided, so when you are out mattress shopping we encourage you to remember “To Flip or Not to Flip? ” And we hope that you will see the benefit and come see us. We are ready to help you and provide the Fox Experience.
