How the Seasons Affect Sleep (Part Two)

Previously, we began to discuss how seasons affect our sleep patterns and behaviors. We started with the winter months, where our bodies work harder to maintain a comfortable body temperature to fall asleep at, as well as how important a temperature regulating mattress can be. In this second part, we will continue discussing the different seasons and the impact they have on our sleep patterns and how you can navigate around these.

On the opposite side of winter, the summer months not only bring warmer temperatures but also longer days. Especially in our home state of Florida, these summers are no joke! These longer days can bring more fatigue, but also the heat can make it more difficult to get the rest we need.

It is important to create a cool and comfortable sleep environment by ensuring your air conditioning is set to a comfortable temperature while using lightweight bedding. Making sure your bedroom is well ventilated and the use of fans can also be great in regulating temperature. No matter what season, a temperature regulating mattress and a comfortable nightly routine will help you get the rest you need!

We hope you found this second part on how the seasons may affect your sleep to be interesting and helpful in ensuring you can take full advantage of your sleep and have the most productive day!
