Pillowcase Materials

Ever woken up in the morning with your hair being an absolute mess? Well, changes in your pillow sheets can help alleviate that! Every popular material has its own pros and cons, and in this article we’ll be covering just that for popular pillowcase materials.

Cotton- one of the most popular materials on this list. Its cool and absorbing properties make it a great and accessible material. Its downsides however include that it easily bunches and can cause much friction in your hair.

Satin- one of the more luxurious types on this list, satin is a smooth material that is easy on the skin. It also has less friction so your hair will be less jumbled in the mornings. Downsides are its cost and that because it is a more delicate material, more care must be taken to it.

Silk- offering similar benefits to satin but at a generally cheaper price, silk is easy on the skin and hair. Though the material is more delicate than satin so hand washing is a must when it comes to this material.

Linen- extremely lightweight and breathable fabric. If you live in a hot area like our home in Florida, you may want to consider this material just for its breathability!
