6 Tips on How to Get Children to Sleep (Part 6)

September 15, 2018

We have finally reached the end of our series on how to get your kids to sleep.  If you missed the previous articles, you can find it on our blog.  The next tip is below.

5. Limit digital content. Your children are probably growing up in a completely different age than you.  The digital age.  TV's, tablets, games and other digital media are a form of entertainment and enjoyment for all ages.  As bedtime approaches, it is important to monitor and possibly limit their digital vices.  This can be because the content is too stimulating, the content could cause frightening images right before bed or because white light from screens has been shown to affect sleep patterns.

We hope that this series had helped you better understand sleep behavior for children and provided you with ideas to try out at home.
